A Political and Patriotic Post

The dome in the National Gallery in Washington DC.

The columns of the National Archives in Washington DC.

In this political season, I feel the urge to create patriotic posts. Here is my family in front of the Capital Building in Washington DC. Some of us, like the boy, are indifferent to the political system. Some, like the girl, are exasperated with the whole thing. And some, like the husband have faith in the process, stay informed but doesn’t obsess, and continue their lives the best they can, regardless of who becomes president.

You may think they are thinking about politics, but they are really just waiting for me to STOP TAKING PICTURES!

Love the shot of the dome – it’s more like an illustration from a children’s fantasy than a photo of the National Gallery. Great perspective indeed!
