Ever since I was a little girl, I remember flying on airplanes. My family moved a lot and trans-oceanic flights were a part of my childhood. I would wonder who the hurried and busy people were in the airports. Every person I saw in a raincoat was a spy. Back then, flying was not common or affordable. Only the privileged were able to afford the fare and I would think that anyone on an airplane was important and impressive.

Today, flying has become affordable and somewhat of a common practice for some people. Almost boring…maybe he is a spy.

But I am still fascinated by people in airports. And now I have my camera, I see people I want to capture.

This wonderful couple was married for over many years (I forgot how long). I love the pink hat.

The were holding hands in the airport, it was so sweet. They were on their way to visit their family…my own family was huddled in the back of the bus, pretending they didn’t know me.

This family sat across the aisle from me, they were going to buy a new place on the beach for the summers. Lucky girl. Her dad says it’s a good time to buy. Yes indeed it is.

And here is Molasses. She is the ears for a deaf family that I met on the plane.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to be deaf but I would love to have a companion like her.

I exchanged contact information with Brian because I had hoped the photos would turn out better. I really wanted them too, because of little Andrew here. I didn’t want to turn on my flash and the vibration on the airplane was such that my camera could not be still…too bad.

Brian, I wish they had turned out better…if I had the opportunity, I would take them again!
