Desperate Housewives – March (a) Edition

This month’s bunco game was really subdued. We were all tired for some reason. We almost quit playing at half time because we were all so run down…

It’s hard sometimes to give so much to our jobs and families and then turn around and have a rip roaring time. After all, except for Neighbor Kaiasha, none of us are spring chickens anymore. But having a chance to get together each month really is a blessing. Most of the time we just wave to each other as we pass by on the road, each of us hurrying to get on with our busy lives.

And we have a chance to learn about each other a little more each time we’re together. We had the honor of meeting Neighbor Sue’s mom who filled in for an absent bunco member. She’s of East Indian descent with a fascinating story about living in England. I think I’ll have to get Nanna and her together along with some wine one day…it should be fun.

So this week will be Desperate Housewives week because we deserve it. It’s a good way to celebrate the sisterhood.
