I Really Don’t Know What’s Going On

A couple of days ago the sweet Laura at Dolce Pics contacted me to tell me that I had won one of her lovely prints. Really now, what is going on here?

I didn’t want to ask you all about which one to choose because I didn’t want to seem indecisive but truly, I couldn’t decide. I have to say that after a day of installing, re-logging-in, recycling servers, and re-mapping drives, all while on the phone with one of my great team members, making this decision is the best part of my day. But I still can’t decide.

See my computer? I think it was the only one working in the office today. My calendar has remodel kitchens on it. I’m a Martha at heart.

If you go to Laura’s site (and you don’t have to) you can see the three choices that I have. The feather would go well in my bedroom or downstairs, the purple mum would look great in the girl’s room, and the bottom peachy colored one would be beautiful in the upstairs hallway. What to do? I’m not asking for your help, but if you want to go over there and look at them, you can. It’s up to you, no pressure. And if you want to let me know which one you would pick that would be awesome. She was sweet and said I could take as long as I need. But I’m pretty sure she meant this calendar year.

I returned to “real” work yesterday and since I had been gone a while I had this slightly displaced feeling. You know, one that says, “I have to work, but I don’t wanna.” But when I walked into my office I see this beautiful bouquet of yellow roses that our wonderful receptionist, Frances, had put there. It was the most perfect, most wonderful welcome back to the office I could have had. So I do the only thing I could, I give her a hug and I took some photos. And the shenanigans of the network reminded me today of why taking some time off is so important.

Anyway, I just wanted to explain why there are photos of yellow roses on this post about picking a print.
