If you were me and you needed a gift for someone which one would you choose? The person you are choosing for means a lot to you. She may even have given birth to you. At the very lease, she watches your dog and cat while you are on vacation.
Would you get her this? An abalone shell pendant. It’s sterling silver. It may need to be polished from time to time.
I love the colors.
Or would you get her this? A beautiful and very heavy pineapple pendant made of yellow gold. Pineapples are a Hawaiian good luck symbol and delicious too.
Or would you get her this? It’s a Hawaiian leaf but I’ve had a mai tai and I can’t think of the name. It’s a new design, according to the sales lady. I like the white gold for her.
Here’s a cute little turtle. It’s the Hawaiian symbol of longevity, the honu. It’s gold with little red rubies for eyes. It’s not in the running because it’s outrageously expensive. But I wanted to show it to you because look…
The shell opens up and there’s a little baby honu inside. Is that not the cutest thing you have ever seen?
I have to decide tomorrow, with or without you…
My favorite is the abalone shell pendant, but I’m not a fan of polishing. How would she feel about the polishing?

I like the turtle! lol, I see why you are having trouble, they are all so her, the abalone shell is nice if I had to pick one, oh i dont know, I like them all! What the heck, buy them all! ENJOY!
Abalone shell pendant hands down! It’s what I would buy for my mom – she’s not into dainty jewelry.
Sorry I’m weighing in late here…. but I don’t think I would have been much help anyway, because they’re ALL beautiful and I can’t decide!!! The pineapple and the leaves are unusual shapes for jewelry, so I sort of lean towards them. But, the colours and shape of the abalone pendant are gorgeous.
The turtle is adorable!!

Thank everyone! After another mai tai, I chose the leaf. Only kidding. It’s called a monstera leaf. I had to look it up. The reason is this…the other pieces were at stores that were far away. The leaf was at the store in the hotel. So therefore…after much consideration, I chose the most convenient one, but I know she’s going to love it. I appreciate your feedback!
