I don’t think I would like living there. I can’t swim, so I’d constantly be worrying about fall overboard from my house!

Oh, wow. If these aren’t the greatest!! If they can be in Portland with cold, wet weather almost year round, why aren’t they in nicer climates? Like Chicago…

I’m not sure what the boy meant by how they get about in the winter. I wouldn’t care. I’d hook my dog up to a sled.

What a fantastic little community!! Such a unique way of life As you said, it probably has its challenges, but probably not any more than in land houses, just different ones. How funny that they Zamboni their yards in the winter!!

I love being by and in the water, so yes, I could definitely live in a float/boat house
