July 30, A Piano Without a Player

Last night I tried writing about Neighbor Suzanne’s going away party last weekend. The words didn’t come easily so I gave up. It’s just hard sometimes to write about such things.

So instead I watched Marley and Me with the boy. Which made me less emotional, especially when the dog dies. See? No tears at all.

So today it’s a piano from the boy’s music academy. It’s a Piano Without a Player. Like a story without an author.

Awwwww. I’m having one of those weeks, too. My advice? Throw some glitter in the air. Bake some cookies. And go to bed early with a good (happy!) book. Hang in there, kiddo.

Thank you for your words of encouragement! I AM going to throw some glitter in the air, literally and figuratively.
