Yesterday I culled, edited, post-processed and put through a fine-toothed comb, close to a thousand photos. I only kept 10% of them.
Then I saw that the Pioneer Woman had a recipe for coq au vin and I thought I’d make it or dinner as the husband was due home from a trip. As I was cooking dinner he called to talk to the boy and the boy said, “Mom, he’s not coming home until tomorrow night. Can we have pizza?”
These are precisely the reasons why this photo is SOOC.
Anyone out there also a glutton for punishment and doing a 365 project on top of work, family, dog and life ? Leave me a link to your photos and we can commiserate together.
I know my limits. I leave such ambitious plans to you Wonder Women out there!! (I love the boy!! Such a guy already!)

Coq au vin?? May I come over for dinner, please? I need to be doing precisely what you are doing – sorting and deleting with a fine tooth comb. This is a great shot and sooc works!

I love the boy wanting pizza. My favorite is when I’ve worked hard on a fancy meal and one (or more) of my kids looks at it and says, “Can I make myself a PB&J sandwich?”
I try and delete a little every day. Never quite works out that way…I end up keeping more than I delete… :-/

yay Big Daddy!no 365 for me…i did a little 100 days which gives me twice a week or so but it is taken in one place …challenging it is a link on my blog

Mmmm… I’m sure that lovely food didn’t go to waste. Just as the extra space on your hard drive won’t, either. What a fabulous SOOC shot.. I love the clarity, the color, and the almost touchable texture. Excellent!
I’ve been getting a little fancy in the kitchen also :0) now if only I could get to culling a few hundred of my photos too…..though I would need a couple of uninterupted days to start THAT project! Good Luck on the 365 thang! You’re a better woman than I :0)
