Healthcare Fireworks

Whew. There are some fireworks going off in this country. I’m watching Senator Specter’s town hall meeting. I want to turn it off but I can’t. It’s like watching a train wreck and I can’t take my eyes away.

I should be Twittering this instead of blogging about it but then I can’t post my fireworks photo could I? And Twittering is still a foreign medium for me. After all, I spend enough time on the computer.

Okay back to healthcare. I haven’t read the House bill (and it’s still a House bill) and health insurance confuses me even as I know I have good coverage. I don’t think that I’ll understand all of it any time soon. I’m just praying for wisdom for our elected representatives.

I will go out on a limb and say that the Senate healtcare bill, when not if, it’s written will look very very different from this House bill. Unless we want a total citizen melt-down. I don’t know much but I do know that.

I have to say that the Senator is holding his own…
