Big Dog, Small Dog

I had the honor of baby-sitting little Zoe last weekend for a couple of days. The dog was not thrilled with another little dog visiting. There is no peace for her when little licky dogs come over.

It has me thinking. Are big dogs out of fashion? There seems to be a lot more little dogs running around, especially in my family, namely Tuk Tuk, Willow and Tula. And there’s Shadow across the street. And oh, and the infamous Pete. Then there’s Zoe who is smaller than all of them and insists on sitting on my lap every minute of the day.

Me? I like big dogs…nothing personal Zoe. I just need my lap back now.

I don’t know. In my neighborhood there are more big dogs than small ones. I like both!
Big dog lover here….can’t help it. But my big dog is still a puppy and THINKS he’s a little dog and still tries to crawl into my lap.
K’s boyfriend has a black lab. The tail on that thing is lethal! We had a cocker (an in-between size), but I like the little dogs. I’m thinking I could use a lap dog, but then I remember that I value my carpets!! No dog right now!
I prefer big dogs — our three dogs total about close to 200 pounds!! But pretty much all dogs are cute
I find there’s a trend towards a lot of breeds mixed with poodles, and puggles seem popular.

I’m a huge dog lover (ours is Ursula). What’s really funny is when they grow into big dogs and still think they’re lap dogs.
Zoe’s a cutie.
Thanks for stopping by Mac and Melody and commenting. We’re just getting started, but having fun…and we do have a charitable cause/plan in mind. Stay tuned.
This is a wonderful thing you are doing!
