I’ve decided to make this gentleman the subject of my entry for iheartfaces.com “Blue” category this week. I shot this photo during the World Wide Photo Walk in July. He is sitting in front of St. Mary’s Rectory in downtown Washington DC.

AMAZING Photo.
cool photo!
Great photo, a scene I probably never would have thought to photograph. I’m just not that artistic! …Wonder what he was doing there.
Great image! I love everything about it – the color, the composition etc.
Cool as cool can be…I love this shot!
I love this one! One of my favorites so far..
This photo makes me want to know his story!
Great blue photo!
I love these documentary-y photos. It tells so much story. It is an amazing shot, and great entry.
Wow! That is fabulous! I wish I could get up the courage to take these kinds of shots!
Thanks Michelle. Actually he was the subject of quite a few photographers that day. There was a group of 35 of us and everyone had a lens on him. I felt slightly guilty.
This photo is stunning and full of emotion…Great capture!
I love the color and unexpectedness in this photo. Lovely!
He looks like a JetBlue pilot waiting for his airplane to arrive!
Great shot! I love it
WOW What an excellent shot! I really LOVE the ‘blueness’ of your shot, not only that the man is wearing blue but he somehow looks a little blue too.
Love this! This photo makes me want to know more! Wonderful capture!
What a cool capture! I can just imagine a story out of this one! Nice job.
This is a very unique capture. I love how you photographed this man. It makes you wonder a lot of things . . . like if he’s just another person who is down on their luck; out of a job; is this all his worldly possessions . . . there is an emotional story there just beyond that photo. Thanks for sharing!
