She’s my girl Jackie. A beautiful, fun, vivacious, intelligent girl who just happens to have the swine flu right now.
And did I mention she shares my office?
She sits patiently as I take her photo for the staff directory. Relatively patiently.
Miss Kathy, our wonderful payroll lady came in and sanitized her desk and phone for me after we found out she was sick. There is no end to the kindness in my office.
Last week was an extremely busy one. I don’t mean to complain, everyone is busy. But I was praying as I sat in meetings, cooked for the masses, played bunco, ate crabs, taught my classes, went to the grocery store, hugged all the 7th graders in my small group and kissed my kids and husband that I didn’t contract the swine flu from Miss Jackie. So far so good.
As you can see she’s a very beautiful girl but the virus holds no such discrimination.
