November 17, Tenacity

The Great Noreaster of Last Week took many of the gorgeous leaves off of the trees. Our yard was a cacophony of displaced foliage.

But these hung on.

I want this fall to last as long as possible. It was a regal display. We are in the midst of my favorite season, the seasons of giving thanks.

Red autumn leaves are my favourites :-) You’re lucky you still have leaves — ours are pretty much gone. Lots of naked trees now!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes and for letting me know that you like my purple guest bedroom :-) I kind of wish it was the master bedroom so I could sleep in purple every night!!

Gorgeous!!! Love these photos. It’s the same with our leaves. They were beautiful this fall, and Ida knocked them all down. Sad to see them go, but it was a lovely fall while it lasted! :)
