To this…
48 oz. fresh Dole cranberries
4 cups of water
4 cups of sugar
salt to taste
Boil sugar and water together. Throw in the cranberries and cook.
It’s starting to smell good in here.

My family is at odds when it comes to cranberry sauce. Gelatinous Goo vs. chunky & tangy. We all agreed on a delicious Food Network recipe this year called ‘Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Sauce’. I think you’d like it but when I make it again I will cut the amount of sugar in half.
Hmmm…I think you would like this. It’s sort of chunky. Sort of gelatinous…I’ll have to check out that recipe.
48 oz is a LOT of Cranberries. A 14 oz bag will generally cover 10-12 people unless they are fanatics. Try it with OJ instead of water – really makes a difference. I put finely grated orange peel in it too. Yum!
Bob, you’re a great photographer…and a cook, too? I’m impressed!
Hey Big Daddy:
Well, those are my two favorite hobbies. Better watch out, Puna saw one of my food posts and said ‘a guy after my own heart!’ ;>)
