The Day After The Day After

The last few years, Neighbor Theresa has a neighborhood Halloween party where all the little munchkins come in their adorable little outfits.

And then there’s Ted.

Neighbor Ted is the perfect neighbor. As long as he’s not in drag.

One little boy said, “Hey, I know you! You’re Garrett’s dad!”

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Little Garrett decided to spend the evening at a friend’s house rather than with us. Not a coincidence at all.
He’s so fresh.

Notice I’m the island girl holding a baby. Someone has to be good. He said, “Puna, you and I should both be hula girls next year and we do the hula together.”
Oh geez, Lord help us.

Last year, Neighbor Ted was Juan Valdez with strange stuff in his coffee can.

And the year before? Well…and Neighbor Ted is a devout Catholic. I wonder how many hours he had to spend in the confessional because of this.

Neighbor Ted is a ham…and the life of the party.

And sometimes he’ll shock his even his wife. Or maybe she’s just resigned.

The girl spent the evening with Samantha-girl instead. When I went to pick her up, I said, “Girl, it’s a good thing you didn’t come to Miss Theresa’s house.”
She said, “What did Mr. Ted dress up as?” She came home and went right for my camera and promptly exclaimed, “Eeewww!”

As Neighbor Patti said, “Our kids have to grow up with this!” She has cause for concern. She has seven kids and at least two of them have been coached by Neighbor Ted in sports.

This is a whole new take on muffin top isn’t it? I did warn you.

ROTF! That’s hilarious. I especially think it’s funny that he not only dressed up as a nun but was also holding a beer!
I think I’ve been scarred.
Oh MY Goodness! That was so funny! My 15 yr old son said: “Yeah he doesn’t pull it off well!”
