Trains

As we start decorating for the Christmas season, the boy asked if he could take out his trains. We haven’t done that in several years. What a great time he had. He may be fifteen years old but it seems that boys never outgrow their toys.
The engine was his dad’s as a boy and it still works. I hope that one day – and I can’t believe I’m saying this – I hope the boy will pass it on to his son. But not too soon.
Posted on Mosaic Monday.

We are NEVER too old for trains are we… even us girls. *giggles* I remember when my brother had a train set back in the 60’s. I loved watching it go round anytime of the year.
Thanks for this great mosaic!

I.LOVE.THAT.CORNER.SHOT!!!
Nice to still feel like a kid sometimes!
Wonderful photos of the trains and your boy. Brings back a lot of memories.
Fantastic shots, Puna, and boys never do outgrow their toys. Trust me on that one.
The bottom right shot is amazing!! Wow!! How did you do that?!
Boys definitely love their toys — and their tools too!!

Oh, that is so sweet! Isn’t it fun to see such innocent joy in the middle of those teenage years? Thanks, Puna, for sharing your wonderful images at MM.
