September 6, Toils Under The Sun

On this Labor Day, I wanted to post photos of laborers from long ago who toiled with their hands, without the luxury of modern automated tools.

Actually these photos were from last weekend. I ran them through PW’s Heartland action. I duplicated the Edge Fade layer so that – well – the edges would be more faded, like an old photograph that was taken many years ago.

The top photo was run at the default settings. The second one was run with a slightly less opacity so that the color showed through slightly. I liked the green of the tobacco leaves.

Happy Labor Day…I hope your toils are not as difficult as theirs.
