December 21, Grapes Of Wrath, Dead Of Winter

It’s just now getting cold here. Sunday was the first day that I felt the sting of winter. I spent most of the day outside, with about five layers of clothing on. By the end of the day, I felt a little bit like this shriveled plant.

However, the dichotomy of it all is that winter wouldn’t be the same if it was warm, as much as we wish it so. So we adapt and enjoy it while it’s here, hopefully from the comfort of our couch and by the warmth of our fire.
