Pumpkin Planting

planting1The boy had a stomach flu-thing last weekend. He couldn’t eat much and wasn’t feeling himself. It didn’t matter to his wrestling coach; he was expected to practice as if he was 100%. It frustrated the boy a little bit and I told him that no one else was going to show him as much sympathy as his mamma.

I thought it might cheer him up if I let him do something violent – like pumpkin planting.

So here goes…

planting2Ready – look at the mold on that pumpkin.

planting3Plant! – nice swing.

planting4Splat! – I think he felt better.

planting5Look at all those leaves, shameful that no one rakes them. But next year, we’ll have a pumpkin patch. And all because the boy had a stomach flu.

This is for Photo Story Friday.
