I live in the suburbs of DC with the husband, the boy, the girl, the cat and the dog. Ho hum.

Not in that order. And I miss them all.And now I live in the suburbs of the great state of Maryland, USA. I have a wanderlust heart so I’ll be traveling a lot…I hope.

I get bored easily and restless a lot. But I’m resigned to knowing that one day, I’ll move to the ultimate destination. But for now, I’m here. Forget the country, forget the big city, forget the exotic, the suburbs is where it’s at. Or at least it’s where I’m at so I’m dealing with it. And I have a lot to say about it. Who knew that suburbia could be so much fun.

I used to have a career but now I am a housewife mostly – not a very good one at times, which is why I have so many hobbies, to keep from doing housewife things that I should be doing. I work part-time as an information technology manager, I teach fitness classes at my gym, I love to cook and I love to eat, and I’m teaching myself photography.

This doesn’t leave me much time to do the hobby that I put down on every questionnaire and forwarded “Get to know me” message – reading. I like to read, and I do read, but not enough to make it a hobby. This is the first of many confessions I’m sure.

Above all, I love God.
