Store #1646 has turned into a trash dump. Back room carts blocking the isles, dirty floor, trash on the floor, shelf items laying everywhere including on the floor. A sign of poor management and untrained employees. It is so bad I will not shop there anymore. Other Dollartree stores in the area are neat, clean, and a pleasure to shop. This store needs to be improved or closed.

That I was very impressed on how filled and organized the cleaning supplies wall was.
It shows that someone great effort to making it look so nice.
And I also want to say that this store is well stocked and for the most part has everything I’m looking for.
The people putting things out are doing a great job.
    Great team effort.
And at check out the cashier was very nice.

The people at our local store #4272 in Maine are very friendly and helpful. Debbie always has a smile and an offer of help. Bob took the time to make sure that I found an alternative for what I was looking for. I look forward to going there. Great store with needed objects.

There is no trash can at this store. I shop here about twice a week and there has been no trash can for months.

The same vehicles are regularly parked in the spaces closest to the door and customers are forced to park further away.

On this visit there were approximately eight customers in the line. Finally, a second employee appeared and opened the register closest to the office: (Veronica ?). She briefly spoke to one customer but did not announce that she was opening the register and did not turn the register light on. After some hesistation, customers got in the line.

I got in the line and during the checkout handed her a candy bar and a second empty wrapper of the same kind that I had eaten in the store. She immediately started that she did not want the wrapper and refused to touch it. I asked her to put it in her trash can and she immediately stated that her trash can was full but never looked at the trash can. I finally put it in the adjacent register trash can because, as stated, she refused to touch it.

Does her conduct generate sales? Does she thank the customers for their patronage? Not in my opinion.

Store #769 Smithfield NC has the absolute worst customer service ever . I purchased two drinks, a stem of flowers and balloon for a bouquet of flowers. When I got to the house I realized the balloon wasn’t in my bag . I called back and the manager argued with me saying the cashier put everything in one bag . Also that I needed to come back with my receipt and she would look at the camera to see what happened to the balloon. So I guess she thought I was lying but for what 1.00 . I live 18 miles away but I’ll spend my money somewhere else . Not to mention that the store was hot the AC working working.

Hello. We live in Central Illinois and I have been to several local Dollar Tree stores – Springfield x 3 stores, Lincoln x 1 store, Decatur x 1 store, and today was the first time my adult son and I went to the Dollar Tree in Savoy, IL. I enjoyed shopping and found everything I was needing. I asked the clerk at check-out if this was a new store. She said it is not a new store, that staff like to keep things tidy and well organized for their customers. She was very friendly. The store was very tidy, floors clean, it smelled good, grocery carts were clean and well organized. Kudos for this store! Sincerely, Angie Dyer, 43 Woodsmill Drive, Sherman, IL 62684.

I live in Athens Alabama. The store in this town needs a lot of work. The shelves are way to empty. Their attempts at restocking is failing. I shop at dollar tree quite often, but lately I find going to Huntsville to any of your stores is the only way to find what I need. I don’t know if it’s the store’s management or order writing, but you are losing sales when the shelves are empty.

Dollar Tree store #280 needs help-the floors are always not clean-always seems to be lots of boxes in the aisles (every day) stayed away for quite some time and tried going today but the store remains very messy and floors are filthy-this store is very close to home and would go much more often if these concerns were corrected-also, asked if I could get cash back and the casher said she didn’t have enough cash to do that-this was after lunch time so that’s pretty pitiful that the store cannot accommodate this request-seems to always be poorly managed-please check into this because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one noticing this very badly run store-you must have a Regional Manager that could check on this-thanks!

We just shopped at store no. 5937 in Indianapolis. The store is well stocked, well managed, clean, and the manager and clerks friendly, courteous, and helpful. When we drove into the parking lot we saw cans, bottles, thrash and dirty sidewalks. We talked with them about it and were told someone comes occasionally and cleans the lot. We have been to this store several times and the lot is always a mess. This is not good for business$$. You can surely do better.

Ive complained about this employee before and she is still very rude and unpleasant person, I have talked to the different managers you have had there and I don’t see how this woman is still employed with your company, the employees name is Carolina and the store # is 4278 in Denver Colorado, I hope you do something about this employee, otherwise you will lose a customer and I will tell at least 10 other people about my experience at that store, also the store is always a mess, boxes everywhere, shelves half empty, I can over look that but not the employee rudeness, I hope you take care of that problem,

As I was waiting in line to be cashed out one of the wooden panels to the bottom of the cash register conveyor belt feel right on my toe and the cashier was not concerned at all and then a few minutes pass and then she finally asked me would you like to make a incident report with attitude and I asked her what would an incident report do and then she said I don’t know then I asked her what do you mean you don’t know who’s the manager she said I am a manager and I said how can you not know what an incident report would do if you’re the manager you work here and she said obviously they don’t train us right I said can I speak with other manager and the other manager came out and said yes she told me what you said and you said you didn’t want to fill out an incident report and I told her no I asked her what would an incident report do and she told me she don’t know and they responded to my question with attitude and bad customer service and proceeded to argue with with me and my boyfriend three employees then I finally got the incident report and they were still being disrespectful and so I decided to just leave because I was in so much pain now my toe is swollen and I’m really in pain and I would still like to make an incident report but didn’t feel it was necessary to stay in a store and be disrespected by three employees that wasn’t concerned about me being hurt at all in their store and one employee said to another employee this is the second time this happened to someone so I knew I wasn’t the only one that it happened to it was a big wooden panel underneath the cash register conveyor belt

I was in the Dollar Tree store #6215 located at 316 W. State St in Eagle, Idaho 83616 today and went through the checkout line for a small purchase totaling $8.48. The clerk “Toby” told me “it did not go through” (and I didn’t hear him correctly) so he said “you still owe me the money – the card didn’t didn’t go through” – and he said it loud enough for other customers in line to hear what he said – and he said in a very rude and gruff way. I knew there was no problem with this card and there was credit available for such a small purchase amount – but I paid in cash just to get out of the store. When I returned home I called Citibank who confirmed there was no credit hold on the account and that Citibank HAD NOT declined the purchase. So I called the store and asked for the manager – and “Toby” said he was the manager. I explained there was no problem with my account so the problem must be with their credit card reader. He claimed that was “impossible” because they’d already processed over 200 purchases on that reader so far today. All he would have needed to say was “we’re sorry for the inconvenience and we’ll have our reader checked out” – but he was argumentative and rude. This is certainly not the only dollar store in my area but I will NEVER enter or shop at this store again. When there’s a misunderstanding for any reason with a customer in the store there is NEVER any reason for an employee and especially the manager of the store to be rude to a customer. I shop at this store several times a month and this is the first time I’ve seen “Toby” in the store and I have to say he does not have the temperment to work in retail or to interact with customers. I was not at fault and I was polite to him in explaining there was no problem with my credit card account and was also polite in suggesting there may be a problem with the store’s credit card reader. To argue with any customer over a relatively simple misunderstanding is completely out of line. I think the owner of this store should be alerted of this employee’s behavior and of the mistake he’s made in hiring someone like Toby to manage his store.

I was at the Eagan store 5117 on Saturday evening February 3rd. I am new to the area and have been shopping at this dollar tree for a few months. I have always felt that the cashier named Detra brings a level of customer service that no other cashier at this location does. But tonight I noticed that she was in extreme pain I mean she could barely walk. I asked her why didn’t she call in or why doesn’t she go home and she said, she thought about it but she didn’t want her manager to be left alone or have to worry about trying to find someone to work last minute. I can’t believe that the manager did not send her home or that the other employee who was working did not offer to stay so that she could go home. I don’t know Detra at all but her showing up to work while she’s in pain says a lot about her character and her commitment to her job. There is a saying that says give honor where honor is due and Dollar Tree really needs to give praise and acknowledged the awesome employee that works for them. Please let Detra know that there are customers who care about her and we hope she’s feeling better.

RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE. Asked to have reading glasses bagged in separate bags to prevent scratching. Employee, Pauline, and I quote “ARE YOU KIDDING?” Didn’t know I had to explain myself to an employee that was paid to check me out, and not fast either, I might add.

Today I went into Store-3004-Panorama City Ca. That store is ALWAYS messy. No matter how many new employees they get it is always messy. But I want to mention how bad of an attitude Susan the asst manager has. She needs to be trained to smile and have a better attitude and supervising skills. On a good note the cashier Alex was great, positive attitude, and tried his best to move the line as fast as he can. Keep up the good work Alex, maybe suggest to Susan to smile!

On Jan. 23, 2018 I was shopping in the Buckhannon Dollar Tree Store#2028. I had a bank envelope
with $55.00 dollars and a bank deposit slip in my pants pocket, and realized that it was missing. I had my daughter go back into the store, and she walked around the store looking for it, but didn,t find it. On our way home she called the store, and no one had turned it in. I
    just figured

that someone kept it. On Thurs. Feb 1 I received a phone call from my local bank that Dollar Tree had something that belonged to me. The cleaning lady Carole found it Sunday night. She
turned it over to the assistant manager Kimberly. Kimberly took the time to contact my bank, so they could locate who the money belonged too. It is nice to know that there are still
honest people in this world. They both should be recognized and rewarded by your company
for being loyal to the customers and for being honest. Thank you Carole Overfield and
Kimberly Grall. With much gratitude Cathy Craig

Yesterday I was sitting in my car waiting for the store to open and as I was sitting there I noticed an employee spraying the carts and wiping them down. I taught wow here is an employee that not only seems to like her job but cares about the customers who shop there. She even motioned to let me know that the store was now opened for business. I really wish I could give Detra 10 stars but you only have 5 and I also wanted to give her a tip for her EXCELLENT customer service but she said she could not receive it. Dollar Tree you have a real gem working for you and I hope you know it.
