    Trying to get to your link given by the store receipt is bunk.
    OREILLYAUTO. COM/FEEDBACK with or without the space does not work. Thanks for 15 min of frustration

    I called yesterday to see if your No. Spring Garden Ave, DeLand Florida location had generators. I was told that 5 generators would be delivered and available the next morning. I asked if we could prepay and pick up in the morning. Was told no. I was told that the generator I wanted was $100 above what it is listed on your site.
    We have a catagory 5 hurricane hitting this weekend.
    I arrived at the locationat 6:40 a.m. ( saw employee inside). Waited until opening at 7:30 a.m. a very RUDE employee opened the door…5 people waiting…part of whom had been told there would be gas cans delivered along with the generators. THEY FLAT OUT LIED TO ALL OF US. The employee said ” we were supposed to get them but the corporate offices didn’t know how to fairly distribute them to every location. So, they didn’t send any. He was very rude when saying it. He could have easily opened the door and told us in the previous time ( almost an hour visibly waiting). Total customer service fail.
    If this is your standard for customer service. I will buy a new vehicle before I buy any other part or item from your stores.
    There are plenty of honorable auto parts stores in our area to choose from. His attitude and being lied to about generators, gouging and gas cans has been exposed on social media. Small towns like ours don’t put up with bad business practices.

    Of course you're absolutely right, John. I wonder whether the pu&seshirlb#39; argument is even that sound in purely financial terms. If you have a successful series, that's one thing – but what if you lay out a big advance for a trilogy, only to have the first book bomb? Haven't you then committed yourself to a money sink?And there are bound to be readers (like me) who have a special fondness for writers who do something different every time, like Geraldine McCaughrean and Frances Hardinge. What are we to do?
