    It’s so hard to find Almond Butter that doesn’t use Palm Oil. You dont just have one brand I can eat; you have TWO brands I can eat! WOOOHOOO! THANK YOU!

    The only reason(s) I didn’t rate 5 stars is because the almond butter is very expensive!! Too expensive! And when I told the cashier I couldn’t hear him because I’m hard of hearing, he just said “oh” with a disappointed tone and that’s it. It was a real let down. He didn’t repeat himself or continue in a friendly manner. I felt discriminated and unworth his time.

    When I asked if he intended to sound or look that way, he looked at me like I was crazy so. Eh.

    On Thursday 5/31/18 I was at your China Maine location and I am furious about the service. The express lane was clogged by a mentally challenged adult who had no idea what she was doing, only one other lane was open and that was taken by several carts of groceries leaving only self serve lanes available. They too were clogged by customers who preferred chatting to checking out. Because of back surgery a week ago I can’t take prolonged standing and that is exactly what I was forced to do, it took me longer to check out than it did to find my groceries, longer by far. I should have abandoned the cart and walked out but being determined I took the intense pain and waited. As I said earlier I am furious about having to deal with that at a huge grocery store which is obviously very short on staff. I’ll shop elsewhere from now on and you’ll see my “Hannafords Rewards” drop to zero. One other thing, you treat people with handicaps as second class customers, the handicap parking spots are always taken by people without placards or plates, there is no cart corral within easy reach of the handicap parking spots making people with handicaps either leave the carts in the lot or struggle to return them. I have had it with your store in China Maine and with Hannaford in general, you failed in so many ways today that you should be embarrassed.

    I just moved back too my home state and I enjoy shopping at Hannaford Yarmouth Maine . Everyone is so friendly and it’s a clean environment. Fast service.

    I love to shop at Hannaford – but tonight was the Worst experience ever! 8:10 in Alton NH
    1 Regular register open and the less than 15 items open.
    I was directed to the less than register – where employees checking out were really slow – I went back to the other only register open and checked out – lots of employees hanging around – no one bagging – It will be a very long time before I bother to go to this store. Summer is just starting and I will drive 15 miles out of my way to Marketbasket in Rochester or Lee where there are baggers for every register and always more registers open.
    Shame on you Hannaford – what happened to Customer Service???????????????????????????

    Ran into Saratoga Springs store 95 Weibel Ave on May 24 to return bottles and pick up some dog treats. Never fails the bottle machine bin is always full so you have to go find someone to empty the container. I approached girl “Shanna” at customer service desk. I told her about the bottle machine and she tells me I need to go 4 registers down and tell a person at that register. A] are you not “customer service” or does Hannaford no longer care about customer service B] are you not cashiering as well I do not think it would have put this RUDE, LAZY, UNHAPPY employee out to perform her job as a customer service representative. I should have demanded to see the store manager but I can honestly say if she was doing her job managing the people this situation would never have existed.

    When bagging my groceries the cookies and fragile produce were placed on the bottom of bags and cart with other bags try to be placed on top before I stopped her. She also used plastic bags even though I handed her my reusable bags at the beginning of the order.I noticed when I got home and looked at my slip that the paper coupons I handed the cashier were never honored.
    Further training is certainly in order for these ladies.

    It seems also that your shelves are not restocked in a timely manner. The line at the deli counter was very long which discourages waiting.

    Hannaford is my store of choice but this trip did not go well.

    I always love shopping at Hannaford, I can get great fresh produce and lots of organic choices unlike other stores. The customer service is excellent and I like that they always inquire whether you found everything you were looking for. Thanks for being a great supermarket!
